It’s been an amazing journey, and I’m lucky to share it with my wife, Vera, our twins, and our little French bulldog, Georgie. My main focus is on strategy and finding new opportunities to expand what we offer our residents. One of the best parts of my job is seeing the space we’ve built turn into a home for so many people from around the world. For any student looking for a welcoming and supportive community, I’d say Be.Budget.Rooms is the right place. "Hello! I’m Vera, and I’ve been part of Be.Budget.Rooms since 2013, back when we were still running as a hostel. Today, I co-manage the company with my husband, Lacó, and we’re also proud parents of twin children! Running Be.Budget.Rooms is truly a team effort, and I’m grateful to work every day with such a great group of people. Together, we’ve built a real community here. One of my favorite memories is from our recent Welcome Dinner, where I got to be the main speaker. I loved organizing the evening, meeting our residents, and just seeing everyone connect and enjoy themselves. It reminded me of why I love what I do. Máté is 28 years old, works as the office manager, and this November will mark half a year since he joined the V&L Ltd. team. From the very first moment, he was pleased to experience how welcoming and helpful all the colleagues are. The supportive atmosphere is especially appealing to him, and he was truly embraced from day one. It’s no wonder that both the students and tenants love this community. Although he already has two years of experience as a team leader, he has never encountered such a positive atmosphere and professional attitude all at once. The daily operations run smoothly, and the team’s cohesion is fantastic. One of the most memorable moments for him was just a week after his first day when the team celebrated his birthday – it was such a special welcome. He primarily recommends this place to students for its central location and the supportive environment. Here, there's no need to worry about maintenance, and the management is accessible every day, even for something as simple as receiving a package.

Polina, originally from Russia, came to Budapest for her Erasmus program during her bachelor's studies and later returned for her PhD at ELTE University. She has lived in Budapest for over four years, making it her second home.With a bachelor’s in Journalism and a master’s in PR and Advertising, she is fluent in Russian, English, and Spanish. Her professional background includes working in hospitality during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, assisting VIP guests, as well as roles as a tour guide in Turkey and in customer service and administration in international companies in Russia and Hungary. She enjoys interacting with students from diverse cultures and backgrounds, helping them feel at home in Budapest, and finds the multicultural environment of the city to be uniquely vibrant. She highly recommends it to students seeking a welcoming international community.

Tibor has been a member of our team since 2009, and over the past 15 years, he has played a significant role in accounting and administration. Since 2011, he has been working alongside Lacó, a partnership he has enjoyed from the very beginning. For Tibor, the long-term and stable work environment he has found with us is especially important, which is why he happily comes in every day to be part of the family-like atmosphere. Flexibility is also essential for him, so he is always able to quickly take care of personal matters when needed. Tibor’s cheerful, lively personality brightens all of our days, and company team-building events and birthday celebrations are especially the occasions where he truly shines.

Éva has been a valuable member of our team as a cleaner since 2009. Over the past 15 years, her outstanding work and kindness have made her a respected member of our community. For her, the workplace is not just a place to work but a second home; for years, one of the properties in our condominium was also her residence. She values a good environment, a family-like atmosphere, and the stability that provides her with a sense of security, which she finds essential. The easy accessibility of the workplace is also a great advantage for Éva, so she arrives with pleasure every day. In 2022, a special turning point occurred in her life when she married Attila, who has also worked with us as a maintenance worker for a long time. Éva and Attila met at work, and their relationship developed here, continuing happily to this day.

Michel is 27 years old and originally from Syria, is a pharmacist and a Master's student at ELTE University here in Budapest. He has been working at Be.Budget.Rooms for about 4 months now, and what he truly enjoys is the amazing team they have there. They have fun while working, and their managers, Laco and Vera, are incredibly supportive and great to work with. What he loves most about this job is the international environment—it’s exciting for him to meet and address people from all around the world every day. This experience has enriched him in so many ways, and it’s always a pleasure for him to help others settle into this wonderful city. For students, he highly recommends this place! The location is perfect, just 15 minutes from most universities and the city center. Everything you need is within a 3 to 5-minute walk, making it incredibly convenient. Plus, their quick responses ensure that anyone looking for accommodation—especially those applying from outside Hungary—can feel safe and confident that they won’t fall victim to scams.

Attila has been a reliable and dedicated member of our team as a maintenance worker since 2013. Over the years, he has earned recognition not only for his expertise and hard work but also for his friendly, helpful attitude, which always ensures that our environment runs smoothly. For Attila, a stable workplace and a sense of community are especially important, and it was here, at work, that he found love. In 2022, he married Éva, who has also worked with us as a cleaner for many years. Their relationship started at the workplace, and since then, they have happily supported each other both in their personal lives and at work.

Rahul is a 22-year-old from India, studying BSc in Computer Science Engineering at Óbuda University. He started working at Be.Budget.Rooms in 2024 and absolutely loves it! The team is amazing, and as the youngest member, he has felt incredibly welcomed in this multinational community. For him, it feels like a group of friends who are both well-aligned and professional, making the work environment truly enjoyable. The best part of working there is meeting students from around the world and helping them. Living at BB Rooms lets Rahul experience the supportive, peaceful, and safe community firsthand, which he highly recommends to all students.
